Floral Still Lifes at Michigan Medicine
If you find yourself at the University of Michigan Hospital for any reason please visit the Main corridor on the second floor to see 20 paintings created between 2019 and 2021. The exhibit runs from March 10 through June 4. With Covid hospitalizations declining and vaccines available the Hospital should be open to the public soon.
Eating the Pig: A Dinner Party In Poetry, Photography and Painting
An exhibit at the University of Michigan Hatcher Graduate Library August 23, 2018 - October 2018. The exhibit revolves around the lives of different people beginning in October 1974 on the occasion of a dinner party which occasioned a poem by Donald Hall “Eating the Pig”. Photographs by Stephen Blos of the dinner party that spawned the poem. The exhibition was curated and contributed to by Sarah Innes who was married to Stephen Blos before his death in 1985 and who collaborated with Donald Hall to put his poem and the photographs together. Her drawings and letters tell the story of the collaboration.
